Let's talk about.. lice. Ew!
Ok, so I have a confession to make. I have been battling lice at my house. Lice! Gross! I've raised kids for 23 years and never had a lice issue like this. There are a couple of factors at play here, and I wanted to give you a heads up ( no pun intended.) Lice are REALLY common. Especially in grade-school . It has nothing to do with social status, financial standings, or cleanliness. Lice are completely impartial. They love everyone! Some school districts in other states have a "lice-check"

"I found berries, mom!! Right outside!!" I immediately freaked out. Having come from Austin, Texas, where we lived for ten years- I wasn't accustomed to picking something up outside and putting it in my mouth.
