A woman has been arrested for a fire that damaged 3 mobile homes on April 12 near Wyoming Avenue and US-95. Clark County Fire Department responded to the fire shortly before 11:30 a.m. A bystander told a firefighter that a woman needed medical help. The firefighter approached the woman, later identified as Heather McDonald.

11 people are without a home today after a two-alarm fire in Henderson last night, firefighters say. The fire happened at Martinique Bay Apartments near Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road around 6:45 p.m. on April 17. When crews arrived at the scene they saw heavy smoke coming from the roof of the two-story apartment building.

VIDEO: Firefighters with the Henderson Fire Department had to tackle two fires Wednesday. According to the spokesperson, both fires started around 6:45 p.m. One of the fires occurred at a commercial structure located at 1290 W. Warm Springs Road. Google maps show that location belongs to a Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers.

VIDEO: Emergency crews pull a Toyota SUV out of Virginia Lake after it sank into the water on Monday night. Witnesses that were parked at the lake told first responders they saw the car go in, but didn't know if anyone was inside the car when it happened. The car, which is described as a Sequoia, was in shallow enough water that crews were able to access the sunroof but didn't find anyone inside and that's when Hasty divers were called in.

A fire today spread from one mobile home to another before firefighters were able to put out the blaze, the Clark County Fire Department reported. A fire was reported about 11:30 a.m. today in the 3600 block of Wyoming Avenue, near U.S. 95, officials said. When firefighters arrived, a single-wide mobile home was on burning, and the blaze quickly spread to another home behind it, officials said.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called late Sunday evening to the area of Brown and Gordon streets for a report of a brush fire. The call came into dispatch shortly after 11:20 p.m. regarding a fire burning in brush that began to spread to other bushes in the area. Carson City Fire Department personnel arriving on scene reported around a 10 foot by 20 foot fire burning near the Classy Seconds thrift store.

VIDEO: An investigation is underway after a home caught fire in Fernley. The flames were reported just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019 on D Street. The North Lyon County Fire Protection District says there was heavy fire and smoke coming from the home when crews got there. Four people were inside at the time, but made it out safely, and no one was hurt.

The Reno Fire Department has determined the cause of a fire that killed a Stead woman. About 11PM April 3, 2019, the Reno Fire Department responded to a house fire at 9755 Silver Sky Parkway. Firefighters put out the fire contained to a bedroom. 61-year-old M’Lissa Cassidy was found dead in the room.

Upon arriving on scene, crews could not see flames, but encountered a smoke bank that spanned from the ceiling to the floor of the apartment reported. As they searched the area, they found the resident of apartment deceased.
