Friday, Dec. 14, The Fox Brewpub in Carson City will raise their pint glasses to generate money for the victims of last month's Camp Fire in Paradise, Calif. With every pint ordered, The Fox Brewpub will make a donation to directly benefit those affected by the deadliest wildfire in California history.

A window washer died Wednesday after apparently falling at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, according to police. Officers got a call just after 12:30 p.m. about a man who fell from the hotel, said Officer Laura Meltzer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Police and firefighters responded and discovered he was a window washer.

A man was arrested Tuesday on first degree arson charges after a fire broke out in his northwest Reno condo. Battalion Chief Mike Pilcher said it's not the first time the Reno Fire Department has responded to calls of a fire at that specific condo off Tripp Drive. Fire crews responded to the unit at about 8 a.

Authorities spent hours on scene Tuesday investigating what caused the fire that destroyed three cars and much of the garage at Midnight Motors Auto Repair. A woman was rescued from a burning business Monday afternoon after fire crews responded to a blaze just before 4 p.m. The fire was at the Midnight Motors Auto Repair shop in an industrial complex located at 3855 S. Valley View Boulevard, near Twain Avenue. When firefighters arrived at the scene, there was heavy smoke coming from the business and reports of people trapped inside.

Firefighters say if you're going to have a real Christmas tree during the holidays this season, the most important thing people need to do is water it daily. The Reno Fire Department and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District provided a side-by-side comparison burning of a dry and watered tree. "It's what the difference between a dry Christmas tree and a watered Christmas tree and how fast a dry tree will go up and how hard it is for a green tree to burn," RFD Fire Marshal Tray Palmer says.

The fire broke out in the garage of a home on Messina Court at around 2 a.m., according to fire crews. Most of the damage was contained to one apartment although the apartment next door to sustain some smoke damage. Three people who lived in the smoke-damaged apartment were displaced. A woman's car was set on fire Friday evening outside of Lucky's Lounge near Farm Rd. and Cimarron Rd. "Four people walk by the car, one walk back, leave the three people standing out in the parking lot, light something and throw it into the car," said Kym Booke. The surveillance video is grainy and it's hard to make out who they are, but it did help Booke piece together what happened to her car.

The event dubbed “Pull for a Cure” was an inaugural fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, as part of the organization’s “Real Men Wear Pink,” campaign, allowing men to take a leadership role in fighting breast cancer.
